Herman BrownBorn 12 Jul 1876 DeKalb County, IN, died 12 Apr 1952 Dekalb County, IN, age 75 years Herman Lancaster Brown was a prominent Auburn citizen of the early 20th century. He was the president of the Auburn School Board in the mid 1920s. He was also a very successful business man, working with his father-in-law, John Wimer, marketing potatoes and onions. He and his wife Marguerite, raised five children: Bernard Wimer, Donald B. Kathryne Lucile, Virginia and Donald. Herman is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn next to his wife in the cemetery plot of the Jesse B.
