 Ensign Randall Holden III, son of Major Randall jr Holden and Bethiah Waterman "Betty" Holden.Born 2 Feb 1693 Warwick, RI, died 24 Aug 1765, age 72 years Captain Samuel Tillinghast wrote in his diary for 25 Aug 1765, "Last night died Col. Randall Holden with a short illness, sick but a few days" (Tillinghast Diary, p. 386). Married/ Related to:  Rose Wickes Holden, daughter of John Wickes Suffix and Sarah Gorton.Born 12 Aug 1702 Warwick, RI, died Nov 1789, age 87 years Rose Holden is mentioned in her mother's will dated 13 March 1749. At her funeral Elder John Gorton preached on Hebrews 9:27. Rose's will mentions her son Randall and daughters Sarah (w/o John Wells), Frances Holden, & Barbara Greene (who has a daughter Mary Greene). Child: | |||
